The Makings of a true messenger

"The Lord has given me the tongue of the learned,
That i should know how to speak a word in season
to him who is weary.
He awakens me morning by morning,
He awakens my ear, to hear as the learned.
The Lord has opened my ear and i was not rebellious,
nor did i turn away."
----Isaiah 50:4-5
God desires His children to be listeners- open, attentive,
and ready to go upon His discharge.
Begs the question...
Do we lean close enough?
Does our heartbeat in line
with that of our Father?
Do we long to hear his commands and obey them?
These questions haunt me...

The tongue is under our influence;
God gave it to us, but its our choice to use it as prescribed-
To speak a word in season to the weary'.

First off, the word in season cannot be our words of wisdom,
But instead God's Rhema word.

Secondly, we must be intimately connected with God
So we recognize His voice when He gives us a command.
Our hearts must be on Him
Our minds focused on His agenda
So we're not swayed by personal opinions and standpoints.

To be His true messenger to the weary and world at large...
We must obtain and then maintain a genuine and flourishing
Love relationship with the creator who gave His ALL for us!
